We’ve compiled a list of the top 4 African travel destinations for 2024. On the list, we’ve included an adventure, unique culture, luxury, and up-and-coming destination, so there’s an option for everyone.

Adventure: Tanzania

Starting the list in Tanzania, you can have an epic adventure discovering the mountains and seas of this beautiful country. If you’re an adventure junkie, Tanzania has nature forest reserves with endless diverse species and biodiversity. You could climb Mount Kilimanjaro and look out over the Furtwängler Glacier.

Within the city, you can also take in the Egyptian culture and tour the old city and visit the historic  Al Mustafa Mosque. Sharm El Sheikh can be done on a budget and is the perfect combination of culture, adventure, or luxury if the budget allows.
