Alternative Christmas Trees
Branch Tree
With so many interesting tree alternatives there’s no need to buy a fake tree. Why not try to
make a branch tree? Branch trees can be easily made by finding some fallen branches. Cut the
branches down to size so that it forms a triangle. Attach each branch to the other using ribbon
or fishing line. Decorate with fairy lights and decorations. As easy as that!

Stacked Logs Tree
An even easier option is the ‘stacked logs tree’. All it involves is a large number of logs! By
stacking them in a triangle it creates the shape of a Christmas tree.
Citrus
Citrus decor is one of the top 2020 trends in Christmas decorations. Dehydrated orange and
grapefruit slices bring color to your decor all while keeping it natural.
How to make it?
Preheat the oven to 120 degrees. Cut up the citrus into 1cm slices and lay them on baking
paper. Bake them in the oven for 1 hour and then turn them over for another hour. This dries
them out without burning the citrus.
Citrus rounds can be used as ornaments on trees. They also give a splash of color to your
wreath or table display.
Floating Greenery Candles
Nothing makes it feel more Christmas-y quite like lots of pretty lighting. Lights can help set a
cozy atmosphere. Of course, fairy lights are always great for Christmas but why not try some
alternatives.
Floating greenery candles bring a natural sophisticated decoration to your Christmas table. You
can use vases or glasses you already have. Find some leaves and wreaths of greenery and put
them in the glass. Fill up the glass ¾ of the way. Place a floating candle on top and light.
Table displays
Table displays help make your Christmas meal feel even more festive! There are so many
options of keeping your decor natural all while creating a festive ambiance.
Using natural wreaths and greenery is the most popular option. Laying it down as a table runner
with citrus and pine cones creates an elongated display with touches of earthy toned colors.
Twisting thin wire fairy lights can give it a bit more of a magical touch!
Wishing you all a wonderful festive season!
